"We visited the Aethos Sardinia for our Honeymoon and could not have had a better experience. The grounds, the room, the staff, and the amenities were all incredibly top notch and blew us away. We truly felt like we were transported into a small little Sardinia village, with the touches and care of a luxury resort. We greatly appreciated the attention to detail and spacious layout of the room that made us feel comfortable and right at home. We also loved the hotel breakfast buffet and the variety of menu options to choose from. The hotel is also conveniently located in a super central area to Porto Cervo/Costa Smeralda and made it incredibly easy to get around -- no where was more than a 15-25 minute drive. We also loved that we could walk right into the center of Cannigione at night for any dinners, gelato, or shopping. We absolutely will be returning!"

"We spent four nights at this property, and overall, it was a 10 out of 10 experience, especially the staff who provided exceptional service from beginning to end. The highlights of the property include clean rooms, a refreshing and well-maintained pool excellent after a long day of sightseeing in the Sardinian heat, a delicious breakfast, including everything necessary to start your day, a great beach (not on property) with drink and food service, and an amazing after hours bartender (Gabriele) who made our stay extra special by always taking the time to speak with us. The only con is the distance into town. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk, and with the Sardinian heat, it was too long. We tried it once and then opted to drive into town."

"This property is just beautiful! It sits atop a bigger hill overlooking cannigione and has a wonderful view. There are three outdoor pools and one pool in the spa area to choose from. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable with excellent amenities. The staff is friendly and the service was excellent. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a getaway that is calm and relaxing yet so close to everything. Highly recommend you rent a car in Sardinia- made life so much easier and more fun to get around. You’d definitely Need it to drive up and back when you want to the retreat. Only thing missing is a gift shop on site especially If you need small items last minute but there’s a market down the hill that is a five minute drive. Special thank you to the front desk and restaurant and bar staff! Francesca took good care of us at check in. Can’t wait to return!"

"It was very family oriented. We love the natural themes. It was great entertainment for kids at night. All was good except we didn’t know we had to pay for towels and sheets. I don’t recall reading that on the reviews. It was a surprise but it is not a deal breaker. I would stay there again but budget for the sheets."

"An amazing stay at Sandalia Hotel! The rooms are well-appointed, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is perfect if you're looking for somewhere peaceful while still being just a short drive from Porto Cervo, San Pantaleo, and incredible beaches. What really makes Sandalia special, though, is the staff. Every single staff member we met was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best trip possible. They went out of their way every day to help us book beach clubs and dinner reservations, and their recommendations were always spot on. To top it all off, I accidentally left my watch at the hotel after we checked out. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They made the entire process of getting it shipped back to me incredibly easy. That level of honesty, care and service is so rare and really speaks to how much they value their guests. I honestly can't say enough good things about this hotel. If you're visiting Sardinia, I would recommend staying at Sandalia. I had such a great experience and can't wait to come back!"
