"Good location. Over-priced. Non-functional wi-fi. Unhelpful staff."

"The property was unclean outside on the grounds. Inside our room, we found old very stained unholstered chair, and a very filthy dirty bathroom with black mold in the shower, under soap holder, in every crack and crevice of the bathroom (which was everywhere), black mold in the window area and floor boards. Checked out after our first night as we found it unhealthy and unsafe to stay in the room. Staff at the front desk was unavailable. Only able to leave a written message for the manager to...

"The room was nice, clean and comfortable and we loved the location. It was really close to Pacific heights shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and the option for parking was nice. The only funny thing was that the receptionist couldn't help us get a remote for the tv and wouldn't find batteries to put in any spares. Nothing crazy, just a random thing to happen during the world cup."

"Location was fantastic, close to Chestnut restaurants and stores. Within walking distance to the ocean coast and wonderful parks nearby. Parking was also included, which is why we chose the motel. Staff was very helpful and courteous."

"Such a clean and charming bed and breakfast with so much character. The shared spaces are welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic each and every day! The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."

"Great hotel and I’d def stay again, the only drawback is the way the noise. Could be the way the noise carries through the hallways. Also the foot steps from the room above us were easy to hear. But the area is wonderful and it’s a great value for SF. I’d stay again."

"My husband and I appreciated Shireen’s assistance with her suggestions and ensuring we are able to get the ideal hotel room for ourselves. She was overall welcoming, accommodating, and nice! We enjoyed seeing her every now and then throughout our stay. Regarding the hotel, it was clean and tidy. Our room was cozy and had nice views of the city. The staff are always on it with ensuring they maintain the hotel well."

"I stayed during the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the location was perfect. Trek bike shop near by, food not far away and close to race start. The staff were great, rooms were big and bus stop out the front. It really was the best spot for this race. The bath was good post race as well. Overall highly recommend!"

"Good location. Small cramped room. The room was clean. There is limited parking so if you do not get a spot, you have to find a spot on your own. There is some urban noise and there was some maintenance work being done at the motel so there was some noise at around 8:30 AM. With all due respect (and not the fault of the owners) I likely will not choose to stay here again. Just was not a comfortable stay for me."
