"This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. Would recommend and hope to return again."

"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also. Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service.
