"Customer service here is absolutely 5 star the staff are amazing! The food here is fabulous even in the buffet. Oceana is exceptional. Mara in the buffet Breakfast and lunch is an absolute diamond The STAND OUT here is absolutely the staff and the food UNTIL you go to the gym and the Yoga Shala ….. just heavenly and a joy to workout / meditate. There are two great pools unfortunately both lacking a bit in ‘atmosphere’ and both very quiet however very relaxing. My suggestion would be to make the pelagos pool more of a music / chilled party vibe and the thalasos pool more relaxed and quiet. Another suggestion for improvement: I’ve never been to a 5 star where I’ve had to leave my restful lounger to line up for a drink. We found this very strange that there was NO bed service (even when tipping) to have had that would be nice. Alcoholic Drinks are not included in the à la carte unless paid for. I did enjoy a few speciality cocktails / wines and we paid additionally. The same for some top shelf including baileys. To have had these included would have been better and we would have been happy to pay more to stay if that was the case. All in all a great and welcome break with excellent service and we would return. "

"Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms and genuinely attentive, friendly staff. It’s a shame the weather wasn’t great, as we couldn’t fully enjoy the lovely pools and bar area. The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from Rethymnon, which is manageable and pleasant. Despite the weather, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"What a beautiful place! Everything was wonderful, from the amazing welcome, the beautiful cave rooms, the smiling and helpful staff. We enjoyed a couples massage in the spa which was one of the best deep tissue massages. Must stay in Crete!!!"
