"The building is great, the apartment was perfect, the staff superbe, and they take care of the building, guests and security. There is a supermarket across the street which makes your life so much easier.
The issue, as others have mentioned, is that the building is at the limit of the safe area in the neighborhoods near the casco viejo.
There is also a soccer field and some type of local dancing that are always playing something and very loud (obviously Casco View has no control over this)....

"This is a beautiful, new two-bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking a large city park. The views of the surrounding mountains were beautiful. "The property is not called New Modern Ocean View - very misleading for locating the complex. Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. "No remote to turn off one bedroom a/c. (We couldn't use that bedroom., it was too cold), The unit needs some attention. Bare minimum in the kitchen for cooking. We liked that it was roomy and that there was a garage. Pool looked beautiful too."
