This is a great boutique hotel. It has charm, great service, an excellent resturant. It has a rooftop garden that has a small view of the city and some church steeples. The rooftop garden also has a jacuzzis. The water is not hot but cool and refreshing. Night time is peaceful and quiet. Go reserve this hotel in Casco Viejo

Excellent staff, decent breakfast. Restaurant for dinner was a bit disappointing. Caution for people with any mobility issues, the suite we stayed in had a 14 step spiral staircase to the sleeping loft.

Our room was tiny but adorable. The staff could not have been nicer. The extra bonus was 20% off on their restaurant Kandeela. I usually avoid hotel restaurants but this was well rated and when we saw and smelled what was coming out of the kitchen we decided to eat there. Dinner was fantastic, original and the service outstanding. With the discount it was a tremendous bargain.

The hotel was lovely overall. The room was nice and clean but we didn’t realize there were no windows. Out room door was on an interior balcony that seemed to look over a courtyard, but there was a shade over the courtyard so we couldn’t look down onto anything. The shower was amazing! Very nice, helpful staff. There was a restaurant downstairs which is supposed to be very nice but we only had coffee and breakfast there.

I can’t say enough good things about the accommodations, the staff and the room. I did stay in a suite and I hear the regular rooms are quite small. The suite was beautiful. Loved the jacuzzi on the roof. The staff was super nice. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We only had a couple of nights here before we flew home from Panama. The Amarla is a very chic little hotel, well situated in Casco Viejo lovely rooms and decor throughout. Angel was at reception while we were there, he was very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

Amarlanis a beautiful, spotless, boutique hotel. The staff is amazingly friendly and genuinely make you feel at home. My room was quite small, but complete with everything i needed. I would recommend it to a friend looking for a place to stay in Casco Viejo!
