Bad Stay

The room smelled very musty and the sheets were old and rough. The only good thing about the room was the AC. TV was ancient and the remote control didn't even have a back. Floor was dirty also. Felt like no one had stayed there or even been in the room in months.

The overall condition of this property was a disgrace. False advertising on the description of the property. The sofa bed was broken and tied together with wire. There was 1 fork and 1 glass in the kitchen. 1 light bulb in each fixture. The curtain rod was tied to the wall with wire. The toilet paper holder was broken. The cranks on the windows were broken. The locks on the door missing. No WiFi. Roaches in the cabinets. Pallets, garbage and mattresses were tossed into the parking area. I have never been so disgusted in my years of vacationing in my life. The only saving grace was Stacy from the managing company. I would never recommend anyone staying at the Villages of South Walton. What a disgrace to the entire area of 30a.

This is NOT what we thought we were getting! Very disappointed upon arrival with our bags, etc. that we had to haul it all up stairs. The elevator was broken. Entering the room, which was at best "less than average", could use a deep cleaning for sure, and was very dated: ie 1990's decor. Come on....! For this price and location, you can do better.! Then, NO wifi! Really? We call to complain, and they want my husband to "trouble shoot it"! Day 2...we go to the pool (pictured here), and the gate is broken, walk around to the other side! Also, might want to pack your own soap and towels, they give you a trial size piece of soap, and 3 bath towels ! My husband and I both used our towels more than once the whole visit. My suggestion is find the nearest Red Roof Inn, and you will feel like your here at the Village of South Walton .

Keep looking, this one is no good

The location is pretty good but the room was pretty dirty. The furniture was dingy and outdated. The decor looked like a bunch of old garage sale furniture. Overall, not a great value. I would not stay there again.

Disappointed

Room overall was not clean and carpet was very dirty and many stains from spills. Sofa/bed is in very bad condition not clean and also stains with not much of a liner left for turning into a bed. Bathroom was okay, but was just okay. Could not open windows to get fresh air,(broken opening handles) We pay good money for room and also amenities to property, as private own I was disappointed and left a day earlier
