"Mario was a great bird guide, but the tour was only on the property. It would be nice to have night tours and birding trips off the property. The internet service could have been better. The food was good, and the staff was helpful."

"Great room and great breakfast options. Beautiful space tucked in very close to the city mall, car rental places and the airport. We drove in for our flight the next day and it was perfect. Despite being right next to the airport it was very well insulated and we barely heard the planes take off. The beds were also comfortable and though we didn’t use it there was a nice pool area. "Fresh food. They microwave the Huevos Rancheros so one may ask them to avoid that if you order it. Good morning breakfast service but it would be ideal to have a Buffet where one does not have to wait and one can get whatever one wants... and not order and wait 10mins for the breakfast. Bed was comfortable and the bed was firm. Room was clean and everything was great."

"The staff at this property was very kind. This hotel was the first meal we had in Costa Rica and every meal after going around we’d find ourselves comparing it to the rice and beans from the breakfast option. Yummy options for breakfast. Nice pool area. Liked it so much we stayed twice. I will say the walls are thin and feel like you can hear everything. Also keep in mind no elevators. Other than that I’d stay here a third time! "

" A small hotel, this is run by a nice couple who focus on making sure their guests' needs are met. It is close to the SJO airport & provides pickups as well as shuttles to SJO. This morning we needed to leave before the scheduled breakfast time and they made sure to provide the full breakfast for us early.
