"The positive comments that I can leave is that the bed was very comfortable and clean, and the location of the hotel felt safe.
However, I was extremely disappointed when we arrived to our room. The rating given and displayed by Hotels.com was 8.6 “Excellent “. In reality, a more accurate rating would have been “Good”. The place was old and need repair. More care for maintenance and upkeep would make a huge difference. Because it was old and showed much wear and tear, it appeared not as clean as it should be. Paint was chipped, the bathroom door stuck when trying to close it, the bathtub faucet stuck out from the tile, the curtains didn’t close all the way. The whole place gave me an unsettling feeling. However, the refrigerator did work well and was used overnight and we did receive a good night’s rest. The room rate was GREAT! That made me wonder about the “Excellent “ rating, and now I understand why it was lower than other hotels in the area.
If you’re not too picky, Ocotillo Inn is not too bad of a place for the price, however, I will not be returning, not even for that price. Sorry "
"I had reserved 2 Queens but at check in they didnt have any available only king. - Our neighbors were so loud i couldnt sleep and when i mentioned it at check out- they knew there was a wedding and “celebrations” happening in the hotel. "
"It was alright, not sure if I would stay again. I stayed in the executive room in the middle of the week.Things that could improve: the website said "soundproof walls" but I could easily hear people in adjacent room talking in a moderate tone of voice. There were many folks with construction jobs who started making noise at 4am operating the ice machine etc. Website stated there was an in-room locking safe for laptop but there wasn't one. Mattress was on the softer side and pillowcase had human hairs stuck on it. On the positive side, the room was big and the complimentary breakfast burrito quite decent."
"We usually try to stay at Choice Hotels, but on this trip the previous two nights we stayed in an area with no Choice hotels available. The previous hotel was nice but did not have the "luxuries" that we take for granted when staying at Comfort Inn. Enjoyed our 1 night stay even more than usual. El Centro Comfort Inn have great employees and great amenities. Thanks so much."
"We stayed in a suite and it was spotless giving my family plenty of room. The fridge and microwave were helpful. The pool was clean and water surprisingly cold being it was 96 degrees outside. The breakfast was great. Waffles, eggs sausage plus muffins. We were close to the downtown area as well. Plenty of food choices walking distance from hotel. I would definitely stay here again."
