The best hotel I have stayed in all Italy

Very kind and professional services, location is perfect since we could go walking to every part of Padula, everything was very clean, breakfast very complete with fruits, cereals, yogurt, bread, wonderful cakes, the bed was very good and excellet room was very silent, the hotel itself is very beautiful where we felt staying on a 1800 bulding but very well remodelated where everything works and smells good! I certanly recommend and will come back there. By the way, the kindness of Francesca and the other guy (sorry that I do not recall his name) made us feel very welcome and just as being at home.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the air conditioning did not work well at all. That aside, the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and give the kind of service that one would find in a 5 star hotel. Location is excellent for getting to their recommended restaurant, since the hotel's restaurant is closed. The restaurant they recommended was FABULOUS. If walking, be prepared to traverse some very steep climbs both before and after dinner. We had a car so drove to Certosa di Padula, the main reason for our stay in Padula. The monastery is very close and walkable though again--be prepared for VERY steep areas coming and going.

Lovely hotel and excellent restaurant. All the staff were very helpful and attentive … special mention to Diego the restaurant host who was great company and a mine if information about the hotel, town and area.

In the center of Padula

The location is fantastic, right in the old section of Padula and walking distance to most of the sites. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful, I felt like it’s a family-owned operation.

This property is an incredible find. It has been renovated in a way that maintains the character of the original building. We were there on the shoulder season and had no problem with parking - we left the car across from the hotel. We ate dinner and had breakfast in the restaurant - charming staff, food was great!

Reservamos una habitación interior. La habitación era muy pequeña. Tenía minibar pero como si no hubiera pues hacía falta un adaptador que no tenía.
