"Very quiet and several meal choices nearby"

"Hotel is an exterior entry door style. The parking lot had a few cars with people sitting in them which is always sketchy. No gym is a definite poor amenity to not have. The staff was friendly but when I asked about local traffic in the morning, they had no answer. That's minor but it is a good thing to know for travelers"

"Staff was excellent, this is an older motel. So it was better than I expected."

"The in is an "experience" as it takes you back in time. From the minute you walk in and up the stairs you are transferred back in time. There are 11 rooms all on second floor and only one room with a private bath. Ladies and Gentleman have a separate area for private restrooms and bath areas. Each room has it's own unique decor (refer to website for complete description and don't forget to read about the history). There is no front desk as instructions are sent to you prior to arrival. Relax and think about the old west as you stay in this unique one of a kind inn!"

"I love the little restaurant attached to the hotel. Great pies. Hotel is older, but clean rooms."

"Breakfast was typical, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles etc. room was ok. No elevator so we had to carry bags to the second floor. "

"Staff was friendly. Room was clean. No sign of bedbugs or roaches. Climate control was very good. There were cosmetic signs of age and wear. Ceiling had bulges and screws and seems were showing that should be expected for its age. The only real negative was that the shower/ tub basin was curved and all the antislip hardware was peeled off, resulting in a couple of near disastrous falls while showering. Other than that concern the room was adequate. I would stay again for sure."

"My wife stayed there and had 2 nights booked. After the experience from the first night, she ended up going to a different hotel in another town the second night. The main curtains looking into the room from the outside didn't close and there was a loud banging throughout the night. She slept maybe a total of 45 minutes the 1 night she was there. She did mention the staff was friendly."
