Our first stay in Oxford.

We enjoyed our stay at Oxford Townhouse, our room was very nice and the Manager was very pleasant and helpful, and as it was our first time to Oxford it was very helpful.

The hotel was very pleasant and conveniently located. The contact-free check-in was so easy and straightforward I wish more hotels were like this. Staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. Our only problems were the slow wifi and the shower head. When the water pressure was on the shower head would drop down so in order to shower you had to take it off the wall and hold it. Not a deal breaker but was quite inconvenient for washing hair etc.

Fantastic Stay

The Oxford Town House was really really good. Only 10-15mins stroll into town. The staff where really friendly and helpful, and a really nice breakfast, Vegan as well. We went there on motorbikes and the secure parking was useful and reassuring, and leaving our luggage etc. there before and after our stay, so we could walk around doing site seeing, was not problem. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. B&B does not do this establishment justice, it is 4 star hotel quality, just without a bar, restaurant or room service.

Pete & Janice weekend wedding stay

Made to feel very welcome, the room was great with lovely decor throughout the hotel. Great secure onsite free parking and very well located for walking into the centre of Oxford and also exploring the meadows and riverside areas. Breakfast was super - well done and thank you for providing such a great stay experience during testing times.

Wonderful Hotel

We looked at hotels in the city and this by far was the best for the money. We had an excellent stay at this hotel and the breakfast was very good.

Excellent place to stay

This was the perfect place to stay, comfortable, clean, friendly and within easy walking distance to the centre of town. (There's a lovely path along the river nearby just opposite the park if you don't want to walk on the street). Breakfast was excellent and parking both convenient and inexpensive. We'll certainly come back on our next visit to Oxford.

I can fully recommend the Oxford Townhouse, we stayed here for 3 nights in June. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre. Other plus points are the secure private off road parking and the fabulous breakfasts.

Thankyou for such a great stay. Our first visit to Oxford was made so much better by having a great great hotel close to the city center (15 minutes stroll). The covid safe automatic check in and check out worked perfectly. The whole hotel and room was finished to a very high standard. A great room with a very comfy bed and crisp and clean linen, a lovely en suite and in room facilities such as aircon, TV, Kettle , small fridge, hairdryer and towels etc. The room and hotels cleanliness was to a high standard. We were only expecting a small self serve continental breakfast due to Covid restriction but we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff, cerials, yogurts and fruit. THEN a great little cooked breakfast menu. I had the traditional full english and my wife had a speciality breaktast omellette. Both wonderfully cooked to order. In short if we visit Oxford again , which we fully intend to , the Oxford Townhouse would be our first choice of hotel. Thanks again Dave and Helen

Gem of a hotel

Wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel. Lovely room with everything you need, even a fridge! Large bathroom with under floor heating Coffee machine and plentiful tea and coffee Comfortable bed COVID safe with all payment, check in and out done via phone. Well thought out Great breakfast

Comfortable stay in lovely city. Easy access to guest house with code. Also only short walk into city. Although room a little on small side was clean and well fitted out. Very good breakfast.

Beautifully restored building, spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings. Shower room was great, good hairdryer and good tea/coffee options with fresh milk provided which is unusual but welcome. Breakfast amazing, couldn’t have been better quality.

fantastic stay

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here . The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and nothing to much trouble . The young girl that was serving at breakfast was very polite and made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast and in our rooms. Will be returning again.
