"The heat is controlled by the staff and is turned on from 9-11:00pm (only) It was extremely cold ( it actually hailed in the afternoon) and I had to ask for a second comforter - in addition to the extra blanket in the closet. "

"Hotel was located right off the coast road about 20 minutes away from Galway. Room was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the 9 steps to navigate with suitcases. The staff were friendly and helpful. Apparently this is a popular hotel weddings. Had a nice dinner at the onsite restaurant/bar and then got to watch a beautiful sunset over the water. Breakfast was included and had the usual fare with something for everyone."

"We had a beautiful waterview room. The room was beautiful. I only wish we had more time! The falcon walk with Collin and Mary was more than we hoped for. It is as the book says "one of the thousand things to do before you die". The afternoon tea was delightful. We also had dinner in the Dungeon Room. The front desk did all our reservations before we arrived. We are looking forward to a return trip!"

"The hotel was very nice and clean, but we booked for the pool and it is not a hotel pool - it is an affiliated health club pool - and the staff were extremely rude to the kids. There is nowhere to sit. This is not a hotel to book hoping for a fun family time between tours."

The room was in chilly side as main bedroom radiator didnt work the car parking is ridiculous - cant get out Pool is nice compulsory swimming caps outdated no soap showers either €5 a night to park if use external booking partners no idea why so I didnt dine in hotel at all ! "Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"Our favorite hotel stay in Ireland! Friendly helpful staff! Comfy bed and pillows! Our room was decorated so quaint and it was clean and cozy. Loved the robes provided for shower. It was a couple days before my daughter’s birthday and they left her a birthday note with fine chocolates. Would definitely stay here again!!!!! Great hotel! "
