Good service hotel with Good food options

The rooms were clean and comfortable. They have an Indian chef and two Indian managers in the restaurant. They were all very helpful and the food was really good. The receptionist also arranged a car and a driver for full day for us.

Nice hotel. Overall, good hotel and good Service. Good BF although coffee like Americano its extra cost. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good (i took Indian dishes)

Excellent location - close to Airport and town. Excellent food, wonderful service and clean and best. Breakfast out of the world. Many options in the menu. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel for any potential customers.

The Bosses were racist and colonial

Thank you to all the kind and generous staff at the Hotel, front desk, gym, security and house keeping. However, I conspicuously noticed the power hierarchy between the staff and management. The arrogant bosses pausing and watching the Afrikan black staff in a very intimidating manner. Waiters were so nervous that one waiter dropped a tray because of the intimidating precence of the boss! Please treat your employees with kindness. You are a guest in their country and you are both benefiting from one another! As much as the Hotel was clean and central, due to the way the bosses were treating their employees, which was so painful to watch, I will never go back or reccommend to anyone who agrees that colonialism does not have a place anywhere in the world! The breakfast was good with a variety of fruits, pastries and other dishes to choose from. At a practical level it was ok, however it's the colonialism that I am calling out! I tried to strike a conversation with the unfriendly boss but he just ignored! Very arrogant with colonialism written all over his unfriendly face

Nice, modern hotel less than 1km from Ouagadougou airport. Despite delayed arrival, hotel staff sent shuttle at 2am to pick me up. Rooms are spacious and clean. The gym might be the nicest hotel gym in west africa. Highly recommend!

Terribly managed hotel

Free airport shuttle didn’t show up. I waited 25 mins. The hotel is a 2-min drive from airport. When I arrived, the managed challenged me that the driver was there. When I checked out, the manager short-changed me $1 until I pointed it out. I had to check out one day early because of re-scheduled flight. Manager didn’t even offer to call me a taxi. To hotel owners: find a better manager!

Le meilleur rapport-qualité-prix de Ouagadougou

De mon point de vue et après avoir séjourné dans plusieurs autres hôtels à Ouagadougou, l'hôtel Sonia est le meilleur de la ville tant par son emplacement que par la qualité de son service, le confort des chambres et l'offre de sa restauration. Un bravo sincères est à porter à l'attention du personnel Indien de son restaurant.

A no-no for Solo Female traveller

Sonia hotel was full of false advertisement on your site. Room water, Toiletries provided once. No kettke or iron What was calked a DELUXE room was actually a standard. On a main street with no suitable parking. Will definitely not go back or recommend to guests who understand value for money and quality.

Le personnel etait bien, mais le personnel indien est assez désagréable. Sans arrêt a vouloir facturer des compléments L’installation électrique de la chambre est une usine a gaz. Pas de loquet a l’intérieur de la chambre Réfrigérateur ne fonctionne uniquement quand b’vous etes dans la chambre ( pour de l’eau fraîche, mettre un reveil dans la nuit. Le restaurant n’est pas terrible ( pizza grasses avec un gout de graillons ) Pas de salle de reunion, dommage

En fait à hôtel Sonia, les infrastructures d'accueil sont impeccables. Seulement que les climatiseurs des chambres sont fixés directement en face du lit. Or en principe, ils devraient être incarcérés à l'entrée des chambres non orientés juste sur le lit.
