"A wonderful start to the year with the efficiency of the staff and check in was seamless. The room was clean spacious and had a top view of the Danube. The rooftop bar is amazing and cocktails were excellent. Great walking distance to old town Vienna and major transportation is mere steps away from the hotel lobby. "

"We stayed at Hotel Motto for 2 nights at the start of 2026. The checkin experience was excellent and came with a complimentary beverage. The room (Art Deluxe) was quirky as expected, beautifully designed and appointed. The toilet was seperate from the main bathroom which was ideal. The bed was comfortable although the individual duvet covers take some getting used to. The hotel bakery was an excellent way to start each day. The hotel location was also ideally located next to a metro stop and the immediate area was lively with lots of shopping and dining options. I would recommend and return to Hotel Motto without hesitation. "

"There are two sides of this hotel. We were on the old side. I would ask when booking what side you’re in. Our bed was very comfortable and typical to most European hotels the room was not very large. The location is perfect!! Seems out of the way and quiet when you get there but you’re literally a very, very short walk to everything. Trolley stops are very close and a five minute walk to Rathausplatz. Would definitely stay there again. "
