The Business Inn
10/10 Excellent
"I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who isn't worried about it being older. The staff were seriously unreal. The free laundry facilities were amazing! And the breakfast 10/10. Egg bites as good as Starbucks, breakfast sandwiches packed in to-go cartons, juice, water, fresh oatmeal, to-go bags with cookies, water, and a granola bar if you wanted to rush out the door. An awesome coffee maker that grinds the beans and makes you fancy coffees. Front desk staff are super nice, they are like your friends when you come and go. Always laughing and joking, always opening the door for you. Seriously, I can't say enough good things. I travel multiple times a year and I think this is my favorite hotel."

"Close to the Byward market and the shopping mall, all within walking distance. Due to low season, we're able to pay for a 2- bedroom suite at a 1-bedroom price. Gym equipment, however, need update especially the thredmills."
Isaiah Tubbs Resort & Conference Centre

"Check in was a little confusing. The registration office is all the way at the back of the property. Security isn’t great as we stayed in the inn at the front of the resort, very closest to the road. Our door was sticky and took effort to ensure it was fully closed, came back to our door ajar, it was either us or the housekeepers. Nothing was in the minibar, could have used some water when we arrived late at night but was available for purchase at the minimart at the registration office. Lovely property and amazing staff, breakfast was good and our dinner at the knoll was amazing."

"Great location downtown Ottawa, close to War Memorial and Parliament Buildings. Older building, but friendly service, quick check in. 2 bedroom suite was perfect for family of 6 with kitchenette and balcony."

"My overall stay was fine, my room was okay. The AC intake needed a good vacuuming and the sink drain was slow to drain in room 1012. The staff was first rate. I did have trouble leaving the underground parking. My room key worked to open the gate, only to have the gate immediately close. I had to go back to the office, explain my issue and was given another key. Same result. I did find another guest key in the Dropbox and it worked. Go figure."
