"First time staying here at this hotel near Nakajimakoen (usually stayed in Odori) - and I am pleasantly surprised with the facilities, well equipped for a long stay. The room was very clean, well maintained, had a little kitchenette too, very convenient. It's located near the Nakajima Park, great for a little walk in the evening. Pretty quiet as well, slightly away from the bustle in Susukino, but still within walking reach. To the Management: Please don't change anything, keep the property...

"受付が外国人なのか日本語が聞き取りづらかった。 又、経営は同じなのだろうが、古い建物と新しい建物とが繋がってることは旅行者にはわからないので、そこを詳しく説明があるべき。 宿自体は清潔で良いが、ソファーとかベッドが安物で腰が痛くなる。枕も少し寝グサイ臭いがした。しかしながらそれを上回る安さがあるので、又小樽に来るなら利用するだろう。"
