"We were there during a strike so there was no housekeeping service. If you needed towels or toilet paper you had to go to desk and ask for it. It was evident there was a strike going on however we stayed at another Scandic and even though the strike was going on you would never know it. No complaints from staff at all and they went out of their way to assist you"

"Corridors were indeed tricky to navigate. The bar on the 3rd floor is great when it is open. We had a room with tub/shower with a very slippery floor. We ended up putting a towel down in the tub but there should be a rubber mat. Dialing 9 often got you an extended wait with no answer. Room service is a process. No menu in the room and my daughter had to go to the restaurant to order. Front desk staff very helpful when they are there. There wasn’t someone there at all times. Great central location and the breakfast Buffett was excellent."

"Lovely place to stay right in the center of Bergen. Close to everything you need or want to see with a light rail stop nearby. Staff were quick and helpful. Room was updated, clean, and plenty large for 2 people. If driving, park at Kloster Garasjen for 15% off, doesn’t work with rental cars though because it bills the company automatically."
