"Very good hotel, just around the corner from one of the main streets leading up to the station. Friendly staff, helpful, and very service-oriented. I was supposed to have received an email with an access code, but didn't. This has happened when booking via online stenges before, so I'll advise you to actively contact the hotel before arrival. I was let in after a couple of phone calls, and very little waiting, but this is stress I'd rather avoid. "

"Property is a very cool old building. We were assisted by Ludo, who quickly checked us in and was very helpful with recommendations and assisting with luggage. Ludo also prepared the breakfast the next morning. It was a great breakfast set in a very pleasant eating area. Overall, we thought the property was great and would be happy to return. "

Receptionist on duty from 2 -3pm on 29 July 2024

"With medium to high expectation prior checking in Hilton chain hotel - Hampton, well, it is absurdly disappointing to be greeted by reception around 2-3pm (was unable to retrieve the said receptionist name due to the fact that he was rude and lazy to talk to us). As a hotel guests to be greeted and represented by rude reception fronting customer and representing Hampton by Hilton is pathetic - leaves much to be desired and we won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Pls revisit your customer training program for hotel staff please. Definitely not coming back. Pay money and not getting equivalent respect."
