Not clear with inclusions (breakfast etc) esp if you booked the rooms online. The staff do not seem to know what they are doing and always changing the prices when asked. Its called stay n save for nothing.

We had a lovely stay. All the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Good food - we loved the chicken curry and parathas every nite. Someone from hotel walks with you down to the whale sharks (5mins) at 530am and makes it a very smooth process; can help you hire Go-pro but ensure have own card for camera. There was some confusion with our booking - room description via Hotelc*m wasn’t clear standard room bathrooms are shared! Try to get room in garden for lovely views over ocean. Lovely spot at the bottom of their steps to swim/snorkel. Defo a good option if wanting to see whale sharks. Hotel can organise good transfer to Panglao....

Unfortunately, this hotel is not up to par for most who travel and want a nice and clean place. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, but the hotel itself just seems unfinished. It looks like they dropped their price from when I stayed there, but I can't give this place 2.5 stars for a hotel rating. I think 1 star would be more accurate. It's two steps down from your average Motel 6 in the USA. Bedsheets are worn, bathroom looks unfinished. I felt like we were staying in a hostel. If I have to compare it to an Asian basic hotel like Red Planet, it is 2 stars below Red Planet. Red Planet is considered a 2.5 star hotel and so was the Stay N Save, but if I were grading the Stay N Save comparably I would have to give it 1 star. The place has a great view and the sunrise is awesome. Nice steep path to the sea too, but the room itself is 1 star. Sorry to give a poor rating to a staff that's excellent.
