Have stayed a few times over 5 years, and the property standards has heavily dropped since my last visit.
I had cockroaches in the bathroom, there was a significant brown “splatter” stain on the shower ceiling, and what looked to be mold in the corner. The residue from previous occupant’s soap bars were still on the bath tub at check in.
Although I understand the caution and need for loss control, to have a note telling me that plates and cooking utensils were available FOR PURCHASE from front desk was surprising. Which left me with no coffee cup, glass, plate or a way to heat food or water in the room. Why have a kitchen which can’t function as a kitchen in basic ways.
The hallway was not hovered the entire time I was there which left litter and debris over the carpet (3 nights).
Although no breakfast was offered (which is understandable) the space where the breakfast would have been served has become a dumping ground, with trash and a pair of old sneakers left on the counter for 2 nights. (Still there at check out)
The parking lot had a “junk?” car, with people sleeping in the car overnight.
Finally, to be told I had to take my own trash out by reception, who pointed to the direction of the dumpsters, was a surprise.
Overall, a disappointing demise in what was a value hotel property in the past. Would not stay here again.
