Hotel Dekat Oregon Trail Reserve

"The room was very clean, however, the hotel was under construction. All three floors had construction going on, even in the hallways. Carpet was being laid, and I found numerous wood screws lying on the hallway, and one screw in the room. If I had stepped on one, it would have gone through the sole of my sneaker. One overhead light fixture in our room was missing the cover and the light bulbs. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom looked new but was coming loose from the wall. There were...

"We came home in the afternoon and found our door open! A carpet mechanic was laying new carpet by our room and had the door to our room open to get carpet under the door.. Nothing was wrong inside but the loss of privacy was unsettling. We have stayed here before and liked the amenities and location . We should have been given a room far from the immediate work."

"We used to stay here but then found a new hotel that we liked better. We ended up booking here again this past weekend because our favorite was sold out. We had two rooms and neither party was happy. Complaints were that the elevators take FOREVER- I think we waited close to 5 minutes one of the times. "The Hampton Inn & Suites downtown is accessible to cafes, restaurants, arts, and outdoors! We loved our stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great! Fitness room also. A laundry room is also available. Parking was easy for an additional $20 a day."
