The property is charming, beautiful & relaxed...just what one wants in a beach B&B. Lilia, the manager, is so accommodating & prepares an awesome breakfast each morning. Sitting on the covered, open-air deck, watching the ocean, eating breakfast & sipping delicious coffee...well, that's hard to beat! Also, the property is very convenient to many dining & shopping options.

We had a delightful stay at Romar. Lilia is an incredible host. She makes you feel at home and makes the most delicious breakfast. The short walk to the beach and the private pool are also certainly a plus. One suggestion…a TV in the room would be nice.

It is getting harder to find a unique vacation spot that is quiet and still has a view of the ocean from the back porch. It is so convenient to the beach, shopping, and dining but is not in the middle of the chaos. Lilia, the innkeeper is exceptional! Breakfast was incredible. I would not change a thing about the most relaxing two days ever!

Lilia, the property manager is just fantastic. Her care for each guest is amazing. Her breakfasts are delicious and made fresh every morning. Accommodations are cozy. Loved it.

The absolute best place to stay in Orange Beach. This hidden gem did not disappoint! Clean, beautifully decorated, continently located, and the breakfast was out of this world. The best part was Lilia. She went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We are already planning a trip back to the Romar next year.

My husband Rob and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing place on the panhandle and we are so blessed to have found this one. I cannot say enough about this place and the team! Lillia is a treasure and you can tell her passion is in making this place shine and her guests feel welcome. From the history of the place and the character to the intimate details and amenities, this is far best the place we've stayed in on the panhandle.This is definitely my husband and I'm new go to.

Perfectly charming Bed and Breakfast!

Our stay at Romar B&B was wonderful! Our room was comfortable and so clean! Lilia is an attentive and gracious host. She made a delicious breakfast everyday and provided an afternoon gathering for wine and cheese on weekends. The pool is perfect but the beach is beautiful…white sands and blue water. You could it ask for more. We are already planning our next trip.

Went to see a show but wanted to stay somewhere besides a hotel. This was a great find. The inn keeper Lilia was amazing. She is super friendly and made us feel right at home instantly. She made great breakfast every morning. For Mother’s Day she went the extra mile to make it even more special. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway or if you’re going to a concert at the Wharf.

Staying at the Romar House was an absolute delight! Lilia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—she’s one of the most thoughtful and kind hosts we’ve ever encountered. Everything from our arrival to departure was effortless and stress-free. The food alone is worth the visit—Lilia’s homemade French toast casserole, apple crisp, and biscuits with gravy were absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of love goes into her cooking! We also loved the little extras, like complimentary wine at 4 PM and a variety of tasty snacks. The room was charming and spotless, with plenty of character, and parking was easy and convenient. Being just a short stroll from the beach was a huge bonus, and the historic charm of the house made the stay even more special. We’re already talking about coming back soon. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere with amazing food and hospitality, this is the place!
