"Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. "We weren't expecting Porters Lodge to be in the Chapterhouse of Belmont Abbey! A pleasant surprise. Nice, quiet location a few minutes drive from Hereford centre. The room and ensuite were clean and bright. Comfortable large single beds with nice quality bedding. Would definitely stay here again ..."

"Well equipped apartment in a fabulous location. The only suggestions for improvement would be a new mattress- springs could be felt through the bedding and ideally a more comfortable sofa. Communication with the owner was excellent. All in all we had a lovely stay and would book again."
