"Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel."

"Pool was closed,only reason I booked was because they said there was a open pool on site to get there to a closed pool,maintenance said it was open and then immediately the person at the counter said its closed very rudely....If you want a basic over-priced hotel...This is your place."

"Rooms were clean. Had a couple of bathroom issues that were taken care of immediately.
The bed was comfortable.
The pool was just warm enough and clean. The pool area was clean too.
The breakfast was good - waffles, Danish, fruit, cereal - hot and cold . The eggs and meat varied by day. Coffee was good.
Most of the staff were very friendly. A couple of them seemed to be having a tough day.
Lots of parking. Room layout was a little confusing and we had to walk a ways before getting to the...

"As soon as I walked into my room the strong smell of cleaning materials filled my nostrils.
Other travelers coming and going at all hours. At 1:30 am a constant barking of a dog from next door room. Impossible sleep . Also, laughter and loud conversation from the same room. That lasted until 4:30 am. They had total disrespect for other travelers.
I might of had two hours of sleep. I checked out promptly at 7:00 am.
I do not recommend this hotel . I would not stay there again ."

"Double Tree is usually a pretty safe choice for a quiet good nights sleep! I dinged a star overall as the bed we had was pretty "broken" down. If you were sleeping on one side or the other, you can feel the "slope" down to the middle, regardless if you are a side sleeper or back sleeper.
Usually would not bother me - but now have some back issues and a decent bed is worth it's weight especially when traveling.
This is a first at a Double Tree for me. Won't keep me from coming back. Though...

"The room okay. The carpet felt dirty on bare feet. I did not like that we didn't get room service or the option for room service. The had a sticker on the bathroom mirror that said you would get room service every 3 days, which we were only staying 3 nights - no room service for fresh towels, get our trash, etc. Everywhere else I have been, they offer daily room service if I chose."

"I liked how clean it was but as far as price it could have been lower considering I saw a few roaches in my room and there was none of the things available that was offered like breakfast and everything else was closed ( pool, bar, lounge) no ice available no vending machines and they offered wifi and they had none and you won't know until you check in. But overall now that I know this I will still recommend it"
