"To hear the ocean as you go to sleep and wake up is as relaxing as it gets. The unit is spacious, clean, and the view is spectacular. As we wound our way around Iceland, this was by far the highlight of our lodging. I would recommend Gotuhus to anyone planning a stay in the area, even for just a night. You will not be disappointed. I very rarely write reviews because most places are just like the others. Gotuhus, however, is quite special. "

"Check in was flawless. Parking is free & easily. The place smelled great. Ocean View was lovely & having access to their scope was a bonus. The espresso machine made a great cup of coffee and beds were very comfortable. Fyi: The reviews I read before our stay said there was a dishwasher & clothing washer. There is NOT. But, the place was clean & spacious, with fun decor! We noticed a little typical wear/tear & the wardrobe closest to the door could use an anchor. It didn't bother us...
