We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — very convenient for transportation and within easy reach of the main attractions. Our room was clean, compact, and had everything we needed. The onsen was a highlight: spacious, relaxing, and with a lovely open-air pool. Breakfast offered plenty of variety and was very tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Fantastic hotel, courteous staff who couldn’t do enough for you and truly went above and beyond! I had to store my luggage with them and they very kindly let me extend that by a whole day. Highly recommend this hotel. Walkable to train station and bus stops right outside the hotel too.

The hotel is unfortunately a bit tired looking, but still quite clean and pretty comfortable. There's also an onsen which is nice to use. The area is quite convenient, definitely walkable from the train station even with luggage. The staff are nice and friendly. I don't think I would have a problem using this place in the future.

Great location close to train station and beachfront with Starbucks right across the street. However, there aren’t temperature controls in the rooms (thermostat is controlled centrally) and on the night I was there, the heat was on and the room was way too hot so had to sleep with window open. The hotel is on a busy road so it was very noisy (I was on 8th floor) and did not sleep well at all as I sleep better in cool temperatures.

Reasonable comfort hotel stay

Toilet is fairly tight. Thought room temp was air cool and felt quite warm but thinking was eco stuff, so did not bother to feedback. But then on the 3rd night, room aircond was on and temp was cool enough. Should have feedback to hotel on first night. Receptions are friendly and helpful. Walking distance, about 5 to 8 mins walk to shopping mall. Parking places were OK.

This was a good hotel to stay in. The location is great with a shopping centre across the road and Beppu Station only a 10min walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful (we asked for an upgrade because the room was originally too small and they helped us with this), and the hotel breakfast had a nice variety of foods and was only AUD$10 each person. The rooms are quite old and the bathrooms are mouldy and had a sewage smell. Housekeeping occurs only once every two days, however you can request for your room to be cleaned everyday. The airport shuttle bus drops you off right outside the hotel. Overall I rate this hotel 3/5.

An excellent choice of hotels. Friendly staff helped with every question. Cleaning staff are very thorough. Excellent location. Right across from bus to airport. Onsen on site. Laundry and vending machines on the 6th floor. Close to the ocean. 2 minute walk from Beppu tower. They made accommodations for a bicycle to be stored. I was going to rent a bike for a few days, but settled for 5 hours. Quiet, comfortable. Best sleep of the trip so far! Well done Nishitetsu Beppu! Well done. Thank you!! ❤️❤️🍻

Prime location, only 7-8 mins walk from Beppu Station. There's a convenient store (Lawson) and a department store (and Starbucks) right across the street, and a Donki down the road. And 3 mins walk from the Beppu Bay. Staff is super nice and helpful, and it got everything you need - coin laundry on the 6th floor and an indoor/outdoor hot spring bath. It's a public bath but you might have the hot spring all by yourself if you go around midnight time :) The room is relatively small but it's good enough if you're traveling solo like me. The only minor issue is that the bathroom got this funky smell sometimes and the bath tub is relatively small. So I mainly use the public bath instead of my own bathroom.
