Just 5 min walking from Beppu station. 10 min walking to the sand bath Ofuro. The Ofuro of the hotel is on 14th floor, you can soak yourself in the Ofuro and have a good view down to the city. Good to stay.

Staff here were very helpful especially when I was trying to book a private Onsen. Room was nice and clean. The location was great too. Very close to the station and walkable to many of the nice bits of Beppu.

Best 3-star hotel I've stayed at in Japan and one of the best in the world. It's got at least 4-star vibes and amenities. Clean, comfortable rooms with nice views. But the real attraction is access to the rooftop onsen (gender separate) and pool (gender mixed) next door!

Weekend in Beppu

Great weekend get away to Beppu with accommodations about a five minute walk from the train station. Breakfast offered dishes and products from the regional area with titles in English as well as other languages. Many other services were available such as spa, massages and public baths. Hotel was within walking distance to two malls, one that offered foot baths. So much to do with so little time.

Modern, clean hotel with small but practical room. 5 minute walk from the station. Neighbors with the more expensive AMANEK hotel where you eat breakfast and can avail of their gorgeous lobby lounge, and roof top pool and lovely onsen. 10/10 for Value.

No parking, lots of lots nearby, but all were full the day we arrived. Beautiful pool, lots of kids though. Came during a festival. Breakfast was a bit pricier than expecting but lots of options and was delicious. Bathroom was meh, bed was comfy and washer/dryer was great (could be charged to the room). Lots of amenities!

The public bath is located in another hotel building which is a minute away. Ok in summer, but might be a bit inconvenient on rainy/snowy days. The public bath was average. The floor of the locker room was a bit too wet. There is just one elevator in the entire building, might need to wait for a bit of time during busy periods. The employees of the hotel were polite.

Rooms are really dated, AMANNEK INN is the small business hotel next to the real AMMANEK hotel, you are allowed to use their facilities. The rooms are size of a shoebox, I was not able to open my luggage anywhere but on your bed. I checked the Ammanek hotel, while the lobby looks modern, the rooms still look dated, so not much difference than the INN. Oh and they dont clean your rooms regularly, I had to leave the trash out of my room everyday, very janky.

Hotel room is small and compact. Guests can use the facilities in the new hotel of the same chain next door. A great choice for budget minded people.

The hotel itself is a bit old and average, but you get access to the facilities in the nicer Amanek hotel next door, including the bath, rooftop pool, and a good breakfast. The water in the public bath was not very hot.
