"The shower head leaked extremely bad and sprayed all over the floor. The breakfast was very limited and left alot to be desired. Its a smoke free building and our room smelled like a poker game from cigarette smoke and staff just sprayed air freshener. There were baseball tournaments in town, so we had teenage boys running up and down the halls unsupervised until late. Overall the hotel looks nice, but its a budget version of a regular nice hotel."

"I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Amber at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. She gave us some great local restaurant recommendations and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Gadsden. I’m hoping to bring my daughter back next year, and this will be my first choice for a place to stay. Highly recommend!"

"I can't recommend this hotel enough! Excellent room. Breakfast was great. Hotel was full, but room was quiet. I've stayed in a few hotels in Oxford and this was BY FAR the best. Will stay there the next time I'm in Oxford, or I'll keep driving."

"It was a good stay the only issue I had is dealing with fire ants on the pool patio and the bugs in the water. Just not a very clean area, but we enjoyed the stay."

"The room was really nice and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was there was a smoking room above us and it was coming through the vents. It stunk up our entire room."

"The hotel itself is a little outdated and the rooms are small and cramped compared to newer buildings. The pool along with the great view of the river close by were a huge highlight for us. The staff was awesome and very friendly, they did all they could to help accommodate our stay."

"I didn't like the fact that the first floor door rattled when anyone came out of their room. I had to put a rolled towel under the door and prop a chair against it to keep it from rattling. I didn't get to sleep until after 10:30PM"

"Room was dirty. There was shredded cheese on the counter and floor. Linens were old. We went to TJ Max and bought sheets/pillows and blanket. It's an old Motel 6 type motel that's been painted and the paint didn't even match and they didn't even patch the old nail holes."

"This historic property is extremely well-maintained and very comfortable even for an extended stay. It is really the centerpiece of Anniston. Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant after a bumpy check-in experience. Breakfast was generous if a little uneven. There are a few indications on Expedia that are not quite accurate anymore, but that doesn't take away from a generally very positive stay."
