"We reserved weeks ahead, with no special requests, but we're given a handicapped accessible room with known defects in shower area flooding the entire bathroom. Changed rooms only to be literally the only non teenage occupant in the entire hotel. Rowdy behavior and a 3:45am smoke alarm which was not explained with an all clear. It's a good property with friendly staff, but please check expected conditions before confirming your booking."

"Everything about my visit exceeded expectations. My room was clean and spacious with plenty of outdoor space perfect for watching the storm outside. I loved the architectural elements throughout the building which was gorgeous to look at especially the outside details. I enjoyed the indoor pool and can’t wait to come back when the season opens for the outdoor pool. I had a great breakfast in the morning to start my day with many choices and a comforting dinner at the end of the day when I was exhausted after walking all over the parks about a 10 minute drive away. The building was quiet at night and the rooms climate controlled. I will definitely be back it was an excellent value for the price and convenient to the language exam center a 10 minute walk away. The front desk staff anticipated that I spoke English and served me with care. The staff were very friendly and patient as I struggled to speak Portuguese which I also appreciated. "

"Room was comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for our short stay. It was hard to find a spot to park however we did eventually find one but it took several minutes. I don’t remember reading anything about having to climb stairs to eventually get to the elevator that took us up to our room. That would have been helpful to know as we had a large heavy suitcase (unless I missed it somewhere in the listing) Luckily my husband and I are fit. "
