"Staying in a refurbished Lighthouse was unique experience. The rooms are essentially pie shaped with an inviting beach theme. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 6 full sized pillows. Our fridge was stocked every morning with fruit, OJ, complimentary muffins, and yogurt. There were also various beverages and water. There was a keurig in the room as well as at the coffee bar in the Common room. Outside the Common room is a long porch which faced the bay, and was wonderful to relax...

"This hotel is a facade. It looked nice and new but then the TV didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, the stove top in the efficiency didn’t work, the hot water in the kitchen didn’t work, the dish washer leaked all over the floor, the free breakfast was missing the first morning except a long line of 25 people getting waffles and the second morning slim pickings with an even longer line for waffles from people making six waffles each and taking literally 25 sausages on one plate. "Stayed 3 nights. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location for beach and boardwalk. Outdoor pool was nice. Indoor pool is very small but there was no need for it so it wasn’t a big deal to us. We had an ocean front room which was pretty clean. The only issue we had is that the hotel advertises free beach chairs, we called to confirm and then we got there without beach chairs and they are no longer doing free beach chair rentals - be sure to bring your own. Overall, we had a great stay."
