"This is our second time staying at the Sand Spur and we love it. The staff is helpful and kind. The place is clean and well maintained for being right on the beach. Location is excellent! Just walk bare feet to the beach. Pool is small but just what you need. The only thing I would recommend is bring some extra kitchen utensils/cup, etc. the kitchen has a couple of pots and pans but few dishes. We also brought our own cleaning sponge. "My daughter and I had a nice stay for two nights. Clean room, beds, and bathroom. The room included a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. The toilet was small and it was a little crammed in the bathroom, but we managed. This renovated motel is an unique find. It's two buildings; one directly on the beachfront and one just a walk to the beachfront. We stayed in the one from the beach. I highly recommend this motel for quick getaway to the beach."

"The parking lot is definitely tight and requires you to turn around in a tight space. I don’t recommend bringing big cars. Most of the rooms overlook parking lots on both sides so we had to keep the shades closed most of the time. That being said it was super clean. "Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out...

"Our stay at the Sea Ranch Resort was fantastic!! We had Oceanfront with two bedrooms , perfect amenities for families everything you need! Have stayed here before with just hubby and I but had 3 grandkids and it was great! Highly recommend and we will be back!"
