"When we pulled into the parking lot the property looked old, not run down, but old. However the wing we were booked into was completely and very tastefully renewed and the rooms were very modern and upscale, especially for the price. I understood that the place shut down in October 2025 so that everything would look great by May 2026, and it was. I understood that more were slated to be renewed in winter 2026-27.
They have an in-house concession restaurant adjacent, which we did not use. A great Greek restaurant downtown, and the Inn’s “grab and go” breakfast essentials (take back to your room since no tables in lobby) were much, much better than most free breakfasts.
Shortly before we arrived I received an alert stating that there was no elevator - yikes, a bit too late if I needed one. Our ground floor rooms were very accessible and as mentioned above very nice. The registration area might be an issue if you were wheelchair bound- it is 4 steps below the entry foyer. I asked about that and was told by a very friendly registration person that the registration person would simply walk up the stairs if needed to get you checked in - but you might want to specify that you want a room on the first floor (of a recently renovated wing)!
Very enjoyable stay."
