"The room I had, had a wonderful view to the south - the bed was excellent & I particularly liked the desk that went across the whole window. The room was functional & right sized. The only two issues I had were a very limited number of TV channels (& no ability to access ABC local radio) & that the fridge froze everything."

"We were originally assigned a ridge cabin which was completely unsatisfactory. After submitting a review we were offered an alternative cabin which was much larger and newer. Whilst the cabin had two bedrooms and the facilities better, the same problems rose their heads. As a seasoned traveller I expect certain items within my accommodation: Shower gel/ body wash Shampoo Plugs for sinks Good sized towels that dry you adequately Washing up liquid Unfortunately even in the updated cabin we had no plug or was up liquid, luckily we carry our own The major issues seem to centre on one group; that being the cleaners Why would you not clean the toilets thoroughly or remove black marks of walls and cupboards? We even discovered an empty pizza box and chocolate bar wrapper in the bedroom( look behind the bedside cabinet) My suggestion: the property manager create a tick list of the kpi’s and get the cleaners to confirm they are completed This then provides evidence for the manager to conduct random checks and address any failings. This would necessitate the cleaners being given 30mins to clean instead of 20mins maybe? It would however prevent poor reviews such as mine"

"A comfy and spacious room. Easy check in and good communications from reception to let me know check in was available earlier too. The room had a few maintenance issues which I reported when leaving. The hot water was good but kept needing adjustments to keep the pressure up. There were some Ice-creams left in the freezer from a previous guest which showed to me the cleaning wasn’t thorough. And the freezer wasn’t cold enough to maintain the frozen treats in any case. The carpets had wear and stains in a few places but generally the room was a good place to stay. I did like the toiletries. They had nice fragrances. I would return and also recommend this place for the price we paid."

"Staff were brilliant at check in. Changed our room as there was a slight error with our booking. Got is a room with lift access. Room was very clean and roomy. Didn’t use the club for meals this time. However we are booking again and will next time. Look forward to our next visit shortly."
