Overall our stay in Nordbo City was great. It was easy to walk to all the central areas. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. The windows were able to open to allow air to come in. There was laundry at the location as well, which was free. It is worth noting that checkin does not take place at the same location and the 2 locations are not close to each other. You are able to leave your luggage at the main location until checkin. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend.

Room was big. Staff was very helpful. Our flight was canceled and they did so much to help us stay an extra day helped us a lot with this. Also the cleaning lady was super nice and helped me a lot during the day. Great place for a family to stay in Nuuk.

Overall stay was fine. The room was fairly large and had what I needed. It was very clean with a stocked kitchen. Only concern was I didn’t get sent the key access code and there was no indication that reception was over a mile away.

Great place - initially confusing…

Great accommodations. I didn’t receive good directions on how to get my key from the main office, which was a different location (it could be that I had no phone reception - they said they sent me a text, which I didn’t receive after I got on their WiFi). Other than that, it was great. The restaurant is excellent and the City location was super convenient, yet private. Recommended.

Very old building. Overall, good place to stay. Little expensive to what you are getting as it is apartment style versus actual hotel. No breakfast or access to restaurant. The crappy thing is the lack of taxi service willing to pick us up.

Reasonable and Practical

Nordbo was good as the apartment was spacious and had just about everything I needed. A second soap dispenser on the showerstall, a box of tissues and blackout drapes wouldhave made a big difference. I was there in early July and the sun barely set. Good location if you don't mind a little walking.

They have to properties with the same name. The reception is in the other facility but this is not clear on the website. After checking in, we were told that we have to go to the other location, described as walking distance. But it was a 17-minute walk through some gravel roads. The parking lot in front of the reception is not paved so luggages have to be lifted up, not rolled.

Old apartment style hotel

Shower drain clogged. 2 small bottles body wash (good for single use) for 3 nights stay! No dish washing soap for kitchen. No microwave oven. No hair dryer for wife. Only one pillow for each bed. Couch dusty! Only one english TV channel (History channel)! Free WiFi! No elevators. One perilous metal stairs! Bad for travelers with big luggage! Called the reception at the other hotel and Jens brought some body wash and tissue paper. And let me check out late. Kudos to Jens! Old hotel without restaurants and reception area.

No communication on where the apt was. Showed up to the sister property. We were taken in a taxi to the apt. That was good. Apt was fine. The single pillow was flat and for $5 could buy an extra pillow for crying outloud! There was construction next door, so from around 8am all day hammering was going on. There was also no shampoo, just hand soap so we had to go buy some. Very small things make a big difference. Esp for the money I paid.

It was nice to have the entire apartment. It is too hard to reach anyone if there is a problem after hours. The FOB failed and it was very difficult to get a hold of anyone to help us out.
