The place was absolutely stunning and staff has very warm pure Balinese hospitality♡ Room was simple, cozy, tidy and very comfortable. Little swimming pool was nice too. I used to lived in Bali for 7years and this place was absolutely perfect for me to remind me Bali I fall in love 17 years ago... Higly recommend to people who wanna taste the pure Balinese culture.

The pool is big enough and surrounded by lovely plants. Our room was large, authentic and had a lovely dining table and kitchen. Yummy breakfast and other meals we ordered. Great value.

It was a lovely boutique B&B tucked in a residential area, right across from the Water Sports Center. It has a lovely garden. The room is spacious with all the basic things you will need. It was a wonderful "homey" experience.

Price point matters. Do not compare this to a much more expensive location, that would be unfair. At this price, this is a superior option. The garden is beautiful. The swimming pool although small in size is clean. The room has more than sufficient amenities for this price. The air conditioner works great. The staff is professional. You will be happy.

Brilliant little B&B!

I highly recommend this B&B. We were there for 5 blissful days early May of 2025 and had a fantastic group of people there, Putu, Yuni and Parem (apologies if I spelt it wrong) making our stay in Tanjung Benoa a very pleasant, relaxing and memorable one. They went over and beyond at times to assist us like offering to pick up medicine at the pharmacy. When I asked for a new towel they did it immediately. There’s always someone at reception ready to greet us while we were there. Great atmosphere and whilst there we had the pool all to ourselves! We love the gardens and having our tasty breakfast next to it. The place emits a rustic vibe of a quiet rural living which is exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed for 3 night and the place is lovely , super quiet and the staff and owners are amazing. Was a great place to switch off and relax, if you use to and want the hustle of Kuta etc then this place is not for you, if you want peace and quiet with a good selection of restaurants all within walking distance , then this is the place ,Clean rooms might be a little dated but it’s all there and works and the pool is a winner , Will stay again

This was a lovely place. Clean. Quiet. Safe. The pool was small but great. The only downside for us was the property’s reliance on small, single-use plastic water bottles. We were given one each upon arrival, but there was no way to refill them with filtered water on the property. In today’s world, we should all be working together to do all we can to end single use plastics and conserve resources.

I can’t thank the owners & staff enough for making me welcome & ensuring my was really special. Special thanks to Putu, Numan, Malik & Juni. The accommodation & grounds are beautiful with lots of Balinese character. Very serene & tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. The accomodation is really suited to a more mature clientele. I’d say it’s not really a place for kids as it’s so quiet & the pool is big enough but rather small for kids frolicking. Minor feedback: I would suggest replacing the towels & ensuring their whiteness & softness. Thank you again to all the staff at Pondok Agung 🙏 Tracy

Hotel was lovely, even had a library for swapping books in many different languages. Lots of greenery, but because there was 2 dirty ponds with fish that I felt sorry for, it attracted mosquitos. I did not like the area around, it was very run down with not many restaurants to suit western tastes. Many restaurants have closed down in the area. I went for water sports, which there is plenty, but the beach was not pleasant and was dirty. Queen room was very dark with limited light, lotus 3 was better although noisy as next to small road. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although if you eat in restaurant be patient, you can sit there easily for 10 mins and you have to get their attention when you patience runs out and was bitten by mosquito 3 times waiting to order my breakfast, although guests in other seats were not effected, I was very unlucky every morning seated in the middle

The hotel’s location is convenient but set back from the street so it’s quiet. Its garden and pool areas are beautiful. The staff are very friendly especially Putu, who is so helpful with arranging drivers, etc. The room is also spacious and comfortable and everything works. I especially love the many windows and balcony seating. It offers us so much relaxation and privacy. I also really enjoyed watching the offering ceremony in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali.
