"Hotel Andros is a nice hotel--well kept and managed. It is in a rough portion of the city. But, the rooms were spacious and clean. The A/C worked well in the rooms. The only thing is that the A/C is not out in the common areas. The convenient access to the attached restaurant is a very nice plus and it is in a very convenient location for those needing to access the center of Colon."

"Absolutely stunning hotel, so glad we stayed here. Rooms were really spacious and the hammock on the balcony meant you could just sit and watch the wildlife all the time. And there is wildlife everywhere, we saw so much. Also recommend the night safaris. The pool was great for our kids as had both shallow and deep ends. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere but we easily managed to get an uber to/from Panama City"

"We loved our time at this property and would definitely recommend others to visit during their time in Panama. Sure, the lodges are a little rustic in places but they are perfectly comfortable. The setting in the lake is beautiful, with a great pool, free kayaking facilities and places to completely switch off. I loved how calm and relaxing the place was. Most importantly, the staff are superb. Friendly, attentive and fantastic hosts. We felt well looked after here. The food on offer was great, and food & drinks reasonably priced. Top tip would be to make sure of the kayaking and boat trips. Definitely book the Monkey Island trip โ we loved this trip and made the stay even more memorable."

"Was alone most of the time, only person running the restaurant was around. Good food. Not really good beach, hard rocks underfoot in water. Town doesnโt have much to say for itself. But if you want tropical quiet then this is the place."
