Villa del Sol

Di pangsapuri ini, bersantai di pinggir kolam renang terbuka atau jejakkan kaki ke pantai berhampiran, iaitu tempat anda boleh berseronok menyertai selam skuba. Pangsapuri mempunyai 2 bilik tidur dan menawarkan Wi-fi percuma serta sebuah katil berlapik. Tetamu akan mendapati sebuah dapur dengan sebuah peti sejuk, sebuah dapur, sebuah ketuhar gelombang mikro dan sebuah mesin basuh pinggan mangkuk disediakan.
Pangsapuri ini menawarkan 16 bilik penginapan serta mesin basuh / pengering dan peti besi. Bilik terdapat pintu ke laman dalam. Penginapan yang dihiasi dan dilengkapi perabot secara tersendiri ini terdapat tempat duduk berasingan. Katil berlapik dilengkapi peralatan tempat tidur premium. Televisyen LCD 32-inci disertakan dengan saluran satelit premium.Bilik penginapan di pangsapuri 3.5 bintang ini terdapat dapur dengan peti sejuk, dapur, ketuhar gelombang mikro dan tempat makan berasingan. The property is beautiful and just a short few minute walk to the beach. The property manager, Hans, was helpful attentive and amazing. We did not want to leave and are already planning our return trip

Go somewhere else!

Stay away. At least one of the photos on the website was not from there! This is a condo. The inside of the condo was great and well kept but the complex is a mess. Landscaping is not maintained. Old equipment laying around. There is barbed wire and temporary construction fencing around much of the place. No direct access to the beach. The pool was a mess. There was no one there to check us in and we waited 2 hours for the caretaker to show up. There is no lobby. Roads around that area are all dirt. We stayed 1 night of a 3 night reservation and left early.

The offered met all of our expectations and more. Beside the drive in unpaved roads, this place offered great living and sleeping spaces. If you are looking for a home away near the beach, this place is ideal. Also the ground keeper Hans and owner Gary were just amazingly helpful. Hans recommended a great restaurant that we went to every evening and had some delicious foods. I loved this place, it was really clean and air conditioned.

Nosara

Villa del sol is located just a few minute drive outside the downtown beach area. The hotel was nice, the pool was cleaned daily and was a nice spot to spend in the afternoon after being at the beach. The kitchen was great, it had all the necessities to make our breakfast and lunch. The laundry facilities were great, helps keep down the number of items you need to pack. The toiletries included soap, bring shampoo, conditioner and lotions, or purchase when you arrive. We did have ants in our room, but it’s to be expected when you back onto a nature reserve. Hans the property manager is always around to help you with anything you need, he gave us beach towels and a beach umbrella for our stay. The beach near the villa is rocky, but has great tide pools and is nice and private. The main beach in Nosara is sandy (5 min drive). I would recommend staying at the Villa!

Good service and close to beach. 2.5 hour from LIR

We had a good time at the hotel for the beach. From LIR the drive is 2.5 hours. For about 25KM you have to drive on unpaved rocky road and gets tiring if you go for activities like Zip lining or scuba diving. Will-Fi service is not great but can manage. Our hot water had issues the first day but Hans the manager was very good and fixed it. AC did not work one day but Hans fixed it the next day. Overall if you need a beach vacation this is a great place.

Very nice place

Me and my family were very happy, we enjoyed every day of our stay there. We visit several beaches, like Ostional Beach, where we look the "arribada" of the olive ridley sea turtle (the turtles come out to the beach for spawning).

Serios problemas con el suministro de agua

EXPECTATIVA: Visita de familiares del extranjero, planeamos llevarlos a un ambiente de lujo y confort en la playa. Elegimos Villas del Sol, basados en la información de Hotels.com. Apartamentos hechos con gusto, buen mantenimiento, utensilios y electrodomésticos básicos. El concepto es el del alquiler de un apartamento. No hay limpieza diaria, no hay cambio de ropa de cama o toallas durante la estadía, pero si una lavadora-secadora donde se puede dar el autoservicio. PROBLEMA: Serios problemas de suministro de agua potable y que el establecimiento no cuenta con sistemas de respaldo. El primer día el suministro de agua se detuvo de las 18:00 horas a las 08:00 horas del día siguiente, el segundo día de las 21:00 a las 07:00 horas de día siguiente y el tercer de las 16:30 a las 07:30 horas del siguiente día. Si previo hubiera conocido estas condiciones habría cancelado. RECOMENDACIÓN: Existen los medios para contar con sistemas de respaldo de los servicios básicos y es algo que deben evaluar los administradores del establecimiento si quieren honrar el térmico "de lujo'. Para hotels.com, nos sería de mucha ayuda si en la pagina de información crean un espacio de "limitaciones temporales" para que los establecimientos indiquen si existen limitaciones, como deficiente suministro de agua, carencia sistema de respaldo eléctrico, estado de vías de acceso y otros; aspecto que sin duda se percibirán como un gesto de transparencia hacia el cliente.

Great for groups

Located off the beaten path but a charming and delightfully local place to spend your days in Nosara, costa rica. Recommend to anyone, especiallly groups that like a fully equiped place to stay.

Beautiful Villas and Property

We are a family of 5 and we had an awesome experience at Villa Del Sol. Coming from Canada, the quality of the Villas are comparable to those you find on ski resorts (Mont Tremblant, Blue mountain and Whistler) for half the price. Daniel, the manager, does a great job of maintaining the property. The pool and the property are always clean. We visited the beaches around Nosara, but since Nosara is a surfing area, it does not matter what beach you go to if you are a family, so the beach that was down the road from the villa was enough for us to get a beach experience. The Lagarta Lodge close by is worth a visit for a hike and dinner at sunset. Definitely worth the 5 hour drive from San Jose! Despite the tough drive around Nosara's dirt roads, we would definitely come back if ever we visit Costa Rica again

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed at the Villa del Sol February 24 - March 2 , 2013. Very happy with our choice of location and accommodations. The caretaker Daniel was very helpful with any questions and did a great job of looking after the grounds. The beach is only a 5 minute walk down the road and very quiet. The facility was gated and had security during the night. I would recommend renting a vehicle and buying groceries in a larger centre before arriving at the Villa.

Great Villa

Villa Del Sol was a wonderful place to stay. Daniel the caretaker treated us so well and was always around. The condo was decorated nicely with comfortable furnishings. The pool was beautiful. It was only a very short walk to the beach. The beach was extremely clean. The condo was close to eating establishments, the market and the gas station. It was in a gated community with security guards. The monkeys swung from the trees in the back yard. Great patio furniture to relax and watch. The only complaint was we had to come home. Thanks Villa Del Sol.

Enjoyed our stay.

This was our fourth trip to Costa Rica, second to Nosara. I was with my wife and two sons in thier 20s. These condos are about a 200 meter walk to the nearby beach. Walking another 15 minutes south on the beach gets you to Playa Guiones, the surfing beach of Nosara. The condo was a good size (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 4 total beds, washer/dryer, nice living area and kitchen). We were a little concerned at first because there was no hot water, the bathroom sinks had no water pressure, and the AC in our room wasn't working. These were quickly remedied. I plugged in the hotwater heater and Daniel (the onsite manager) came over and unclogged the mineral filled filters in the sinks and had the AC working the next day. Restaurants in the area were very good. We especially enjoyed the La Luna. Go at sunset and get the fish tacos. Make sure you shuffle your feet when walking out to surf. The sting rays really do have a painful sting. I found out the hard way.

Villa del Sol

We are a family with 2 teens and we would love to spend more time at the Villa del Sol.The condo was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The only thing missing from my point of view was a hammock on the porch from which to watch the monkeys, the birds the squirrels, the iguanas... you get the idea. The pool area is lovely and was never too busy while we were there. The beach (Playa Pelada) is only a few hundred meters from the condo complex entrance. In my opinion this is the best beach in Nosara - good swimming, rock pools to poke around in, some shade, lots of shells and the sunsets are amazing. There are several good restaurants within walking distance but you need to drive to the super mercado. In fact a 4wd car is probably necessary to get most out of your visit to the area. Daniel was very helpful when we needed him. I just hope this property does not become too popular so it is available when we want to come back!

Great location - challenging route to location

Real nice place, a really nice swimming pool for the few residents in the cul-de-sac. Also near to the beach and you can eat at some great local places (all within walking distance). A car or ATV is useful for going into the main town and exploring. Security in the condo was not that great, if someone was determined to get in they would do so without much hassle but you get the feeling that it is a safe place in general and at night the gates at the top of the street are closed with a security guard, open and unmanned during the day. We arrived to Costa Rica at night, which really didn't help because the route was tough, last hour of driving is on bumpy dirt tracks and narrow bridges, and the camber was really tough at times. We had a 4x4 and in hindsight we are really happy we paid extra for that type of car - drive to the location during daylight and plan out the route. In overview, we are happy to have stayed here, we would do it again, but as I say we wouldn't have travelled out to the location at night, it was tough.

Amazing

The Villa Del Sol is an amazing place! The people, both staff and natives, are the friendliest and courteous Ive come across. It is located a little off the unbeaten path but well worth it.

clean and close to beach

Unit #7 in the Villa del Sol was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were very large and the living area was spacious as well. The appliances were all fairly new, however, we had to wash dishes by hand as the dishwasher would not get the dishes clean. The clothes washer also quit working while we were there. The coffee maker worked intermittently. These units are about a 1 minute walk from the north end of Playa Pellada - a beautiful beach that is very quiet. The biggest crowds were at sunset when there might be about 20 or 30 people on the beach. We split our beach time between here and the surfing beach of Guiones immediately south of here. The only real problem with this place was finding it. The map on hotels.com shows the wrong location (it would have lead us to the Nosara Beach hotel - which is no longer in operation), and a New Jersey address and phone number. We arrived about 6:30pm (an hour after sunset) and drove in circles on the very rough roads in the area before we found somebody who could tell us where we needed to go. You need a four-wheel drive to manage the rocky, pothole filled roads throughout the area. Overall, we had a very good vacation and enjoyed being at this location. It is off the beaten track and very quiet. Just don't expect luxury - the unit is clean and comfortable. With an armed security gurard and gates that closed at night, we felt quite secure in this unit as well.

Nice but too far

Dogs at the swimming-pool, no internet access, noise at 6am... Won't be back!
