Trader Joes is around the corner and a variety of restaurants are within walking distance. Walking distance to the Chicago Art Institute, Lake Michigan, and a variety of other museums."

"I had a wonderful stay. Its right across from the pier/beach. They have a restaurant and bar is you dont want to leave. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is parking. Street parking is very limited and can only be used for short periods. The hotel parking is $70 a night. "

"Fantastic Location! Friendly staff, lots of history. Central Heating during the winter, so you’ll have to open a window to avoid getting toasted. Overall great bang for your buck and right next to several transportation options! "

"We chose this hotel for my husband’s birthday weekend. The room was spacious clean and trendy. The bed was so comfortable. The happy hour was excellent and the game room and bar on the second floor was fabulous. The customer service was phenomenal. They surprised my husband with a goody bag for his birthday which was the icing on the cake. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations but it was still a great stay. "
