"This is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

"Parking was great, right next to the hotel, We book a Triple room and this had loads of space. The breakfast was continental, plentiful and all fresh, very happy. We were over to explore the D Day beaches and this hotel was perfectly located for this and especially Gold beach."

"Quel endroit magnifique! La chambre est à couper le souffle. Et que dire de l'accueil, j'y mettrais plus que 5 étoiles si je le pouvais. Le maître d'hôtel nous a si bien accueilli à notre arrivée! Nous avons également mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel et nous avons adoré tous nos plats. Nous étions de passage pour une seule nuit lors d'un voyage en France pour notre anniversaire de mariage et si nous avions su que cet endroit était aussi extraordinaire, nous serions restés plus longtemps! "My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special.
