"Beautiful place and at a breath taking spot. Staff in the front were very helpful. Good, clean and the most important thing is that its private for the guests. There is a security at the entrance of the pier so nobody can come in. Guests can take walks at the pier, but not the whole pier but some areas. Security was very helpful and understanding. 2 things that need work are:
1. Pillows: the pillows were a pain in the neck.
2. The body wash: our room had an empty bottle of body wash and wasn't...

"This is the second and the last time I stay at the Palmer. I like the proximity to certain landmarks and the beds were comfy but other than that, the bathroom wasn't clean, there was a lot of hair in the tub, the shower faucet handle was filled with black scum on the inside. There was also a piece undone metal on the bottom of the vanity that scraped my kid's foot. There was no complimentary coffee/tea which added to the disappointment. I was too tired to ask for a different room with 2 kids...

"We were staying to celebrate our anniversary and I was confirmed over the message that they will give us a cup cake and a bottle of bubbles to celebrate. But I got only bottle of bubbles even after speaking to them in person. They agreed to send cup cake and a candle to our room but they didn’t. It wasn’t a pleasant stay after this incident."

"Fantastic location to walk around Chicago, right in the centre- perfect! However outside noise was very loud! Singers on the street, fire trucks, cars blasting music at all hours is the downside (windows aren’t double glazed). But location made up for it! Roof top bar was very crowded all the time with no special area for guests."

"Exceeded my expectations. We were traveling with a toddler and a service animal and the stay couldn’t have been better. Incredibly attentive and personable bell staff and doormen. Impeccably clean. "Loved the Royal Sonesta! The beds and pillows were all very soft and not our preference, but we still loved our stay. The signature lobby scent smelled so good! (Is there a Sonesta Lobby candle I can buy!? lol). The location could not be better in downtown Chicago. Staff was so friendly. 10/10 would recommend!"
