"I have to say the whole place excelled. Our room was lovely and the estate was beautifully kept. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The service was the best - attentive and provided with a smile. The cherry on the cake were the wild owls in the tree outside reception. Brilliant. Many thanks we had a lovely time."

"The rooms are not soundproof and people were speaking very loudly in the passages and hallways in the middle of the night with no regard for other tired guests trying to sleep. Kids were running and stomping around in the hallways and up and down the stairs. I highly recommend a quiet policy from 22:00 to be implemented and soundproofing the rooms."

"This hotel is absolutely stunning and easily one of the most beautiful places we had the chance to stay at during our trip to South Africa. The property and grounds are gorgeous, but what made our stay even more special was the staff, everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, attentive, and kind.
We were celebrating our honeymoon and were so thoughtfully treated to a room upgrade, a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and so many other lovely little touches throughout our stay. It truly made...
