Had a quick one-night stop at Nobeoka for Takachiho gorge. This hotel was convenient for both travelling by train (1-minute walk from JR station) and by the buses for the gorge (5-minute walk for the bus stop). As an added bonus, the hotel was quite nice. The room was clean and had the essentials: yukatas, kettle, fridge and a comfortable bed. And a surprisingly nice bathroom! The view from window wasn’t the nicest, but I didn’t mind after the trip to Takachiho.

駐車場があると思って行ったら、ホテルの1Fは満車で、近くも満車でした。駅が近いので、駅の近くの駐車場にとめましたが、雨だったら、しんどかったなぁと思います。部屋の床は絨毯なんですが、素足で触れた時にベタッとした感じがして、すぐ、スリッパを履きました。
