The hotel was nice and decent overall. The staff were polite, although not especially warm. We booked a standard room, but we were given a room with two beds despite checking in as a couple. I requested to change rooms the next day, but the staff said there was nothing available.
The room was clean, but it was not soundproof. We could hear footsteps and the shower from the room above us, as well as people getting ice or drinks from the vending machine, since our room was right next to it. The room could also use some basic improvements, such as adding more towel holders in the bathroom.
The hotel’s location was perfect—right across from the casino and within walking distance of the falls. The food at the restaurant downstairs was great, though the service was inconsistent. Sometimes the staff were warm and friendly, while at other times it felt like they were less welcoming toward people of color.
Overall, our experience was okay because of the hotel’s great location, cleanliness, and easy access to the falls.
