"The discount via Expedia and the entire payment was not accepted (not working, bla). I had to pay again. The rooms were not ready and the check-in delayed. The staff was slow and not helpful. It is NOT worth the money. We could not even leave the premises, as the guard was not willing to open the gate. They suspected us to have not payed! Stay away and go somewhere else."

"Amazing! If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Nairobi, this is it! Hilary, the staff at African Heritage House was kind enough to give us a tour of the whole house..and since we came with our 5 year old, we were given the family room, and Hilary helped us to clear out any fragile pieces from the room. We were served with tea in the evening, and even in the morning before we checked out. We decided to eat dinner there, and were served an excellent 4 course meal."

Great to grab a little table and have a visit. There were two issues that kept me from giving a better review. I asked repeatedly if they could fix the TV which didn't work and clear the clog in the bathroom sink, which they never did. "
