We had such a great time at Chobe River Lodge. The staff is really kind, the food is great and they are all trying to make your stay really special. We loved the Safari Boat trip. We can definitely recommend the accomodation.

Good base for Chobe/Vic Falls
Not as good as some other Gondwana properties we stayed in. No curtains to block sunrise, sockets in room and door locks a bit wonky and tree squirrels get into room and eat any food. Great location to visit Chobe and Vic Falls but worth combining those and overnight in Kasane, there are tours that would allow this. Lovely area for dinner round the fire. Nice pool with view.

This stay was by far the best of our trip, everything about it was amazing. All far better than the photos, will be back for a longer stay next time
We have stayed at several Gondwana properties and found this to be the best so far. The location is beautiful with a lot space, out chalet was amazing (all recently renovated, along with the main building). The staff were very helpful and made extra effort to accommodate us. If you have the time, do a morning or evening boat ride to explore the river and see the banks of the national park on the other side.
