"Great little cabin just far enough off the road to be able to appreciate being in the jungle. We saw howler monkeys, Toucans and other cool tropical birds. Great bed and shower. Awesome deck. David was extremely helpful with dinner reco’s, taxis etc…. Loved the location as it’s very walkable to beaches, restaurants, bike rentals. Highly recommend. "

"While the grounds, rooms, and majority of the staff were wonderful, we had a very poor experience at this hotel. Our power went out twice, once for 14 hours during our stay. We were not able to have showers, lights, or use any of the facilities in your room. I told the manager, Abel, about this issue and he did. "Absolutely amazing stay at The Hummingbird in Bocas del Toro. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed for relaxing. The rooms, pool, and overall layout are stunning.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location is also perfect, just across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy walks and nearby beach bars.
