"Hotel although rough around the edges is a pretty clean and well equipped stay. Staff are quick to resolve issues as they are a common occurrence. The place on general has a nod to being very upmarket however it’s let down by its understaffed areas lack of internal communication and general state of repairs and upgrading. "It was explained but parking is not ideal in rainy weather. There was no light at the entrance door to easily see the code needed to input to access the building. The room was nice, a standing bathtub, had what appeared to be rust stains, in the main bed part of the room. The TV mount reaching around a corner would have been nice. The biggest downfall was it is right on the main road next to a steal bridge, the whole room shuttered and shook everyone a lorry drove over the bridge and that's when they drive, night time. Very hard to sleep. The food offering in the village at night time is very poor, if not non existent. "

"This hotel is more than a hotel, it’s a home away from home. The staff have made it as cosy and welcoming as they possibly can. You can sit by the fire with a glass of wine, chatting to other guests, looking out on to Loch Ness and then retire to beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean bedrooms. It’s peaceful, charming & luxurious. "

"This was the most expensive hotel on our entire trip. Although the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and decent and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, it was very overpriced. There is also a paid parking lot nearby. Be aware that although free overnight, they will ticket after 8am. "

"Hi , we have been coming to these lodges for years . We are deer stalkers and we don’t have any issues with them. Very clean, friendly staff, shops are in walking distance and plenty of parking space. We stay in the lodges regularly (8/9) times in stalking season. Well worth the money."
