"A traditional no frills farmhouse B&B set in tranquil countryside surrounds with southerly views. Not too from the lovely town of Tavistock. I was greeted by friendly courteous staff and given a very spacious room for the price and a tasty cooked breakfast to boot. Excellent value for money. I really enjoyed the overnight stay and would definitely recommend to others."

"We absolutely loved staying at The Barbican Hotel.
It’s in a great location, near the beach and town.
We were greeted so kindly and looked after so well.
Our room was fresh and bright, very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was wonderful! Well cooked and presented!
I can honestly say, we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house!
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming!"

"Great stay in a centrally located hotel/pub - staff were excellent and food first-class.
Room and the facilities were very good
The village was very pleasant too! I would absolutely stay here again."
"I would definitely recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed in an apartment, which had a large kitchen with all the amenities you would need. It had a hob, an oven, microwave and fridge, plus a toaster and even a caffatiere. The bedroom, living area and bathroom were a good size and really comfortablex the bar in the hotel had a great decking area with a great view over the river and down towards Teignmouth. We would definitely return,"
"I booked as a work stay over.. the location close to Exeter was spot on and the amount of parking were key to the booking. The room was Brilliant, large, comfy with great views.
I managed to get a walk in the evening to explore, but i feel i need to come back to see more!
Thanks again!"
"Booked on a whim as we were in the area, the hotels surprised with its beautiful location and grounds, lovely public rooms, and friendly staff. Dinner very nice and we will return with our dogs next time. Some deferred maintenance is obvious on the exterior."
"Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off.
But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant."
"Mill End was a wonderful surprise for us on the way to London. The room was very comfortable and the bed relaxing. We were thrilled with dinner and the staff were exceptional. The surroundings are calm and beautiful. We will definitely be back. Thank you Peter and the team."
