We really enjoyed our stay overall — the hotel facilities were quite good, and our whole family liked the design and general atmosphere. However, the one major downside was the poor sound insulation.
Unfortunately, we were assigned a room on the ground floor, right below another guest room. The noise from upstairs was quite loud and disruptive, especially at night, and it really affected our sleep over several days. On top of that, our room was located directly across from a busy hallway entrance, so we could constantly hear people coming and going, which made it hard to rest.
I did ask the front desk if we could switch rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked. That was disappointing, but we understand it may have been a busy period.
Aside from the noise issue, we had a pleasant experience and appreciated many aspects of the hotel.
